My research interests include algorithms for decision-theoretic planning based on Markov decision processes; heuristic search and its applications; and related topics in graphical models, game theory, optimization, and machine learning.  I received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an A.B. degree in Philosophy from Harvard University.
